Vaccine Clinics (walk-in) are held every Thursday, 9-1 p.m. in November except for Thanksgiving. Call for different times as needed.
San Juan County Public Health Service has plenty of Flu, COVID, RSV, Shingles, Tdap and other vaccines to administer for free or with insurance, Monday-Friday by appointment only, call 970-387-0242 or email info@sjcph.org.
San Juan County Public Health can also provide you with many of the routine and travel vaccinations you need to stay healthy.

Southwest Rides offers door-to-door transportation for San Juan County residents who have Medicaid. Call 970-946-0232 to schedule.
- Need to talk?
All San Juan County residents can get 10 FREE sessions with a local behavioral health provider. We will accept insurance if possible, including Medicaid.

Weekly yoga, exercise and dance classes are offered at the Silverton Senior Center at 302 E 17th Street. Open gym for adults 55+ is also available through Silverton School. View the calendar here.

The Silverton Senior Center sponsors a grow dome for community garden plots. Adults age 55+ can contact Keri Metzler for plot information.

- LEAP/Snow Shoveling
The San Juan County Social Services office offers multiple programs for qualifying older adults. Contact San Juan County Social Services for more information.
Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP)
- This program is run by Discover Goodwill
- The season is November 1 through April 30
- Apply by phone at 866-432-8435 or at the Colorado Peak website
Energy Outreach Colorado
- Payment assistance with energy bills
- Must apply for LEAP first if you qualify for LEAP
- Required: Completed application, Photo ID, and the bills that need to be paid
- Return to the Social Services Office
